Forged in Battle is a SFW, Genshin Impact fan book centered around the weapon types in the game. Characters and locations that will be included are from the beginning of Genshin Impact's release to the banner of when contributors are accepted into the zine. This project is in no way affiliated with HoYoVerse, nor does HoYoVerse endorse this project.

What’s a fan book?
It's a collection of fan-created content about a particular topic, sometimes printed and sold as a physical book if there is enough interest. There may be merch items for sale with the book(s)! In this case, the zine's topic is weapon types.Will this be a charity or for profit project? Physical or digital?

Yes, result emails will be sent to everyone who applies.How many contributors will be accepted?
We are looking to accept around 25 artists/crafters and 5 merch artists.We are also looking for flavour text writers. Exact numbers accepted will vary depending on artist interest.What are the expectations for contributors?
Artists will be expected to create their choice of either two single pages or a spread of two characters.
Crafters will be expected to create one craft featuring at least one character.
Merch Artists will be expected to create 2-3 merch pieces.
Flavour Writers will be expected to write at least one accompanying flavour text for an artwork.How will contributors and mods be compensated?
At the very least, all contributors and mods are entitled to a digital copy of the zine and digital merchandise.Sales permitting, we aim to additionally compensate contributors and mods with a full set of any physical merch produced. In the case sales cannot accommodate for contributor compensation, we will instead be looking into providing the opportunity to purchase zine items at production (and shipping) cost.Any additional profits will be divided amongst the contributors and mods.Note: Only contributors 18 and older will be eligible to receive monetary compensation.
